EMDG Update
Self-lodgers and non-QIP accredited consultants need to have lodged their applications for EMDG by midnight AEDT on 30 November 2020. As a QIP accredited EMDG consultant, Saving Point are able to lodge applications on your behalf until 2 March 2021.
Update on the R&D Tax Incentive
Our R&D Tax team still have some availability to speak with you and start your FY2020 claim before the Christmas closure. While the registration deadline was extended in relation to FY2019 claims, the end of April lodgment deadline is back in place for the June 2020 year end claims.
NSW State Budget Summary
The NSW State Budget was handed down by Treasurer Dominic Perrottet on Tuesday 17 November. As, like the rest of the country, NSW seeks to rebuild from the challenges of COVID-19 the budget has a strong focus on job creation. It also introduced the prospect of some major tax reform.
