Intention to Revoke a Tariff Concession – Rag Dolls

Written by Saving

May 1, 2013

Customs are intending to revoke the Tariff Concession Orders for the following goods:

DOLLS, RAG, with rag AND/OR plastic head
TC 0614606

That is because a Tariff Policy and Advice Section review found that dolls with a plastic head are not properly described by the term “rag dolls” and therefore the TCO does not contain a full description of TCO goods as required by s.269F(3)(a).

If you are currently importing the above goods you may consider applying for a new Tariff Concession Orders.

Your company may be covered by in-transit provisions.

If you are affected by the application for the revocation of the above TCOs and would like Saving Point to review your case, please contact us on 03 9555 3551 or [email protected]
