Notification of an Australian Industry Revocation Request – Cards

Applications have been lodged for the revocation of the Tariff Concession Orders below:

CARDS, CASINO GAMING, in sets of 288 OR 312 OR 416, pre-shuffled, excluding jokers, having BOTH of the following:

(a) sealed packaging;

(b) unique UV sensitive security markings

CARDS, CASINO GAMING, in packs, including ALL of the following:

(a) NOT less than 54 cards per each card pack;

(b) NOT less than 2 joker cards per each card pack;

(c) UV (ultraviolet) sensitive security markings

CARDS, CASINO GAMING, in packs, including BOTH of the following:

(a) NOT less than 52 cards per each card pack;

(b) UV sensitive security markings

CARDS, CASINO GAMING, having ALL of the following characteristics:

(a) in twin packs with contrasting backs ;

(b) wholly of cellulose acetate with acrylic coating (of the kind known as “plastic” or “PVC” cards); and

(c) width NOT exceeding 58 mm,

but NOT including cards of paperboard

If you are currently importing the above goods you may consider applying for a new Tariff Concession Order. 

Importations not covered by in-transit provisions may be subject to post action as any decision to revoke an order is backdated to the date of request for revocation
