We are excited to share with you that the next round of the Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) program is opening soon. The program is designed to assist Australian businesses in growing their export markets, and we wanted to ensure you are aware of this opportunity.
Austrade have advised that the program will open at AEDT 9 am on Wednesday 15 March 2023 and close at AEST 4 pm on Friday 14 April 2023. The updated Grant Guidelines and supporting documents are now available so that applications can be prepared ahead of the EMDG online portal opening to applications. Please be aware that applications will only be open for a four week period.
There have been a number of changes made for round 3, including the fact that Grant Agreements will be for one year, with a possibility of extension subject to the availability of funds. This is to ensure that Austrade can better manage the available funding in the future.

Please note that exporters cannot apply in Round 3 of the program if they have an executed grant agreement and there is more than one year remaining in the term of their grant agreement.
