Intention to Revoke a Tariff Concession Order: Electrical Protection & Distribution Systems

Customs are intending to revoke the Tariff Concession Orders for the following goods:

ELECTRICAL PROTECTION AND DISTRUBUTION SYSTEMS, comprising ALL of the following:

(a) isolated phase bus;

(b) generator circuit breakers;

(c) starting frequency converter breaker cabinets;

(d) power control centres, consisting of ALL of the following: (i) low voltage switchgears; (ii) control modules; (iii) uninterruptible power supplies; (iv) motor controllers; (v) generator protection cabinets;

(e) low voltage transformers; (f) battery back-ups;

(g) static excitation cabinets

ELECTRICAL PROTECTION AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, comprising ALL of the following:

(a) switchgear;

(b) busbars;

(c) air circuit breaker panels;

(d) withdrawable unit panels;

(e) withdrawable units;

(f) DC switchgear panels;

(g) power supply systems;

(h) step up transformers;

(i) DC/DC converter;

(j) battery;

(k) battery charger;

(l) power control centres

If you are currently importing the above goods you may consider applying for a new Tariff Concession Order. 

Your company may be covered by in-transit provisions.
