The Boosting Female Founders Initiative has been created with the stated objective of stimulating investment into female-led start-ups and to financially support female entrepreneurs by enabling the founding, scale-up and global expansion of their businesses.

Application for the grant is a two-step process with stage 1 being an Expression of Interest. This will confirm a business’s eligibility to claim the grant. Those applicants successful in their EOIs will be invited to complete and submit a grant application.

Grants of between $25,000 and $400,000 ($480,000 for those businesses meeting additional requirements) may be available through this initiative. The grant amount will be up to 50% of the total project expenditure, the business will need to demonstrate their ability to fund the remaining project costs.
