Future Industries Manufacturing Program (FIMP)

Future Industries Manufacturing Program (FIMP)

What is FIMP?

The Future Industries Manufacturing Program was developed to reward sector expansion and job growth for Victoria-based companies.

FIMP may be suitable for companies engaged in the following:

  • Investing in innovative new manufacturing equipment and/or facilities.
  • Creating sustainable new local jobs.
  • Improving productivity and competitiveness.
  • Targeting new growth opportunities in their industry.

Applications are currently open and can be submitted at any time.

How do we help you?

FIMP involves a complex two-step application process:

Step 1. A detailed initial expression of interest (EOI)

Step 2. A formal application should Step 1 be successful.

Our consultants are available to assist you throughout both stages of the FIMP application, including helping you put together project plans and analysing supporting financial documentation.

Are you eligible?

There are a couple of key criteria points that eligible companies must meet:

✔ Must have been trading for 3 or more financial years.

✔ Must have a turnover of at least $1.5 million.

✔ Must be intending to spend at least $100,000 on a suitable project.

The experienced Saving Point team will assess your proposed project and determine if FIMP is the right fit for you and your business.

The benefits

FIMP offers generous funding of up to 25% of the total project spend (capped at $500,000).
